Nawww.....I didn't even have to search for that one, it showed up in my news feed. It's the ones where they change the regulations and bury it that I have to dig for.

I don't know about the rest of you but the King went through lots of bottled water. This is Niagra Bottling Company out of Pennsylvania.

....agreed. The King always took gallon jugs from home, but there were a few times that he ran out of water and would buy a gallon or two. I usually sent a package of the smaller water bottles too. He kept those in the fridge and gave many bottles away. For those that aren't tightwads like some of us.....make sure that you don't purchase water on the recall list.

I do buy gallon bottles of water from Walmart. I notice most say the supply is really just tap water. It is regional, for some the source is " Municipal Supply, Greenville, TN" aka water taken right from the tap of the city of Greenville, run it through a filter that will do nothing as municipal supplies are already treated. Pump it into a cheap plastic jug that will give off some kind of partials, gas or cooties that will likely give me cancer, put it on the retail shelves. Others say it is a county source in Pennsylvania. I still buy it because it is actually a pretty good tasting tap water. Right mix of minerals and cooties I guess.

If I am at the Sapp Bros in Clearfield, I always refill a jug or two as that tap water tastes pretty good too.

 

I had a screwed up two stop load today. First stop took 6 hours to unload, made me miss my second stop at Walmart for later in the day.

Oh, well I am trained at TransAm, just sit around a day or two, unpaid, for Walmart's rescheduled unload time. I am used to it, this is trucking. Wait! I am at a new company! I will get detention pay and they had me drop off the reminder of the load at Old Dominion, they will make it as a local delivery, paid for by the broker, and I can go on my way!

 

Don't you just love working at a company that realizes that neither of you make money if the wheels ain't turning? ?
