Women carry A LOT of stuff to the bathroom/shower, don't they? :biggrin_25519: Well... I do...
I like to take my time when I shower... specially because I don't shower every day... like today... no FJ or Pilot around here... and the shower they used to have in this warehouse is gone.. :biggrin_2557: And I am not paying for a shower at TA or wherever... would rather take a bath in my bucket... but not in the mood today... :biggrin_25512:

What do you do with the extra shower? Give it to someone in need?

Sitting at Tulip City truck stop in Holland after unloading. About 60 miles from the plant this morning I noticed a broken leaf spring on my trailer. Knowing it would be hard as hell to find road service that would repair it on a loaded tank I limped it on up here.

The unloading rack requires a tight U turn to set up to back under it. When I did that the twisting of the trailer tandems broke the other spring. Got an 8 AM appointment to get it fixed at a shop about a tenth of a mile up the road.

I usually don't try to turn these Holland loads but this time I needed to get home Wednesday. My wife and son are out of town and the dogs need some food. Hopefully she can get a hold of the neighbor to feed them.

Sitting in Muskogee OK after a weird day. Watched a reefer be completely engulfed in flame in MO, Got held up by a UPS double flipping after rear ending a slowing truck near Joplin, then sat behind a train for 30 minutes.

Guess it's just another day of work.

WOW!!! Quite a day, huh?! :biggrin_2554: After a day like that aren't you thankful you and your truck are sound and safe? :biggrin_25519:
I have been seeing more and more big truck accidents... not sure if it's only my impression though... And I've been also seeing more and more drivers, 4 wheelers and big truck truck drivers texting while driving and not paying attention to the road... :biggrin_2554: Not sure if this has anything to do with the accidents...

Definitely. That truck was so tore up he had to be doing a pretty good number on the speedo. Those UPS trucks always in a hurry. Not paying attention has to have a ton to do with it. Seems like more people are buried in their phones than drivers actually paying attention.

Saw a small straight truck tanker yesterday that went over the curb, on the dirt and hit a pole head on... Seems he was trying to take an exit ramp. Thankfully driver didn't get hurt... but it was a total loss... and there were debris all over the side of the road, on I-15 somewhere in CA. A little further ahead, saw highway patrol had pulled to the shoulder a big truck pulling double tankers... that's what looked like... I wonder if that had anything to do with the accident...
