    You can't really do it by 62 mph because of traffic, city driving, weather, construction etc etc... 55 is usually pretty close but probably really more like 58. A solid 10 hour day will only get you about 560-580 in my truck. 10 hours a day, for 7 days.... Maybe he doesn't do 34's cause he is a bad ###. He does stuff like calling people slick, using lots of these ÷=%¥/ in his words, and uses lmao, and #### like that

    Don't take me too seriously, I'm just a :munky2:+:computer: Actually sounds like you're doing well, I don't think I had anymore than a handful of $900 checks in the time that I drove OTR and I'm making a lot less now 15 years later.

    Whenever you talk to a driver about his pay, he'll either:

    1. Be having a good week and yaps about running 3500+ that week and bringing home $1300

    Or

    2. Be having a bad week and rants about how he's sitting too much and he just got a $600 pay check.

    I know when I was flatbedding on percentage pay I worked like a dog, was never parked more than 6 hrs unless I was waiting for a load, and i did good to bring home 600 a wk. Now I don't do any work, hardly ever put in a 12 hr day and average 900.... if this is really way too low I would like to know so I can cash in too, ya know? But if 900 a wk is decent for a rookie then I'm pretty content. Now if only I could keep people like TruckDuo out of the office....

    I don't think in terms of 10 hr days. With a Company truck you can run over 800 miles in a day. Maybe you're just too stupid to figure it out or to manage your time to maximize your income. Swift has plenty of new people that think they know everything about how to make it happen in this Company. You fit right in with them..Slick. :)

    Don't think for a minute that just because you can't do it that no one else can either.
