So what y'all are saying is that I don't have to have driven for ta to listen, learn, and contribute to this post? Cuz I gotta tell ya...as I ease back into long miles after a few years in the oil fields, reading ttr to update myself so I don't miss or forget somethin stupid, this thread is without a doubt the best one out here. Kudos to all y'all for what you do.

You are most welcome to join our asylum, scottlav46! At this time no one here is a current TransAm driver.....some of us started with TA, some were looking into TA, and a few decided to join us because they liked our brand of crazy!

Mostly we are just a bunch of folks that have the trucking industry in common that try to help, support and encourage one another.....no matter who we work for. We are pleased to have you join us. Welcome! -
Spasibo! Good times....
HometimeQueen Thanks this. -
What type of freight will you be hauling, scott? And what part of the country? You might have noticed that I am the one that nags, pokes, and prods around here .....oops, I mean I keep track of everyone and try to let them know if I run across something that could affect their trip.....weather, construction, etc.

Lol yep I noticed ;-D
I'm running cheese out of Wisconsin to California, mostly SoCal but some northern stuff depending on the back haul. Comin back is mostly produce. Fairly steady runs, great home time, and no more oil field. It is SUPER nice to be back on the pavement and see my girls more than every three months \m/HometimeQueen Thanks this. -
ok i dont like this new guy
he is stealing my cheese
i do the same thing Scott for a lil company out of Green Bay -
Me too...just north of Green Bay actually. How long have you been doin that run? Do you like it?
-
Good for you, scott .....getting to see your family more often is priceless. You'll be traveling I 80 then, correct?
Don't mind Pete, (Cranky Yankee), he's suffering from nicotine withdrawal. He is maybe a tad more cranky than usual.

It's been close to 2 years, hasn't it, Pete? October or November? There is plenty of cheese in Wisconsin, The King used to ride cheese around the country too. He would pick it up in Wisconsin...take it to a processing plant to be repackaged...then ride it around the country some more! -
this new guy HTQ is so far north he practically needs a passport yo get to I 80
don't mind the Queen she is here to keep me in check
and I am here on the Kings behalf to keep her groundedHometimeQueen Thanks this.
