The problem with most of these backups, are cones set up for miles, with nothing going on. Government subsudies at work. States feigning construction at the expense of Joe puplic sitting in a jam for a couple of hours.....and we wonder why tempers are simmering.

Hey give me millions with no accountability, and I will set up a few roadblocks.....

Worst is when highway sign says right lane closed ahead people get into left as you approach construction it's the left lane closed .. Extra lane changes for nothing adding to the delay

I spent most of the 80's in Germany. They teach and use the 'zipper' merging method. Drives me crazy here in the states when the merges leave miles of unused lane. I usually just drive in the unused lane until I get to the 'correct' place to merge with the other lane. When I do merge into the other lane, the folks look at me like they are about to come unglued with road rage because I'm cheating or something. I just shake my head, I can't help it if others are oblivious to drive in traffic.
