I might eventually end up there when I get off the road. Talked to one of their drivers the other day and he said he wasn't making too much money, but liked getting home regularly. Let me know how you do cash wise.

Only had 2 full 5 day paychecks so far. Together they were lower than what I was making, but also working one less day per week.
Running an average of 12 hours a day 5 days per week. First full weeks check was 870, second was 780. So while it was a loss in pay I can deal with it, and as I get use to their systems I believe I can make around 1000 per week most of the time. Which is all I was looking for.
Also, once I get to a Monday-Friday schedule, I can work some Saturdays on line haul if I have the hours and want some more money for the week. Probably will not do it regularly, but would be nice now and then for a little extra.
Also, the best dedicated runs are for the guys that have seniority, so will take a while to work into that. But at least they do not have a cap on pay raises. So the longer you are with them the more you will make. Base rate is the same for everyone though.
Just don't make me break down my current income hourly lol. Then I get irritated. I just want to have a life outside of work. Tired of living to work.

Would Swift hire someone and put them on that target account right away(if there was an opening) or do they require otr for a period of time first?

And where exactly is the Walmart DC you're talking about?

Do you know their qualifications? Would they hire someone with 20 months experience?

Yes, they'll hire you right away if they're still running it, but it was team only. You have to know who to call. You can PM me for that info.

MacClenny, FL right off I10 about halfway between Lake City and Jacksonville. I have a current contact in the office there. This is best for Swifty solos. Don't know if you can walk right in as a new hire. You'd have to call.

As far as your experience level - Swift takes anyone with a pulse and a relatively clean record.
