Calling All Choice ICs!

To the OP... Ever thought about checking into LTL companies in the JAX FL area running linehaul? Home every night and once you get to top scale and move up the list you should be able to net the 1200 your looking for... Not sure which companies are in the JAX area but check it out... And well home daily more than likely running during the night

I love my truck its nothing fancy, its just a work truck.

 

tell you man if you got a reliable older truck you got it made without those huge truck payments.

I better stop right there before the truck battles start up again lol

 

I currently live in Jacksonville, FL and work the IC Choice program, and have to say I doubt you could be successful trying to be home as often as you mention living in Jax. Not very good freight coming out of Jax (beer loads, wood chips and a few others). I usually deadhead from Valdosta, Tifton, Lake Park, Savannah to get home and usually pickup freight in Savannah, Pooler, Garden City, Rincon, Palatka, Jacksonville occassionally to get back out.

 

Back to the original post..... if you load a case of beer in the back end of that trailer you get unloaded very fast.

 

Ya I ran reefer for a few years and I never spent much time at the docks.
