Right now I'm at home using a DSL, but I do have a Sprint air card for when I'm out on the road. Well, my co-driver has the air card, but we share. It's not always perfect, but it works well enough in most places.dbook Thanks this.

Good afternoon Drivers,
I start my new career in July. I am looking forward to the change. Is there anybody out there that is starting school at CRS's Utah location?
I've done ALOT of researching and questions about trucking companies and their schooling. I've chosen CRS and I hope it's the right decision. I need some input.....Any info, tips, do's, dont's etc. Thanks and hope to meet some of you out on the road.....

Our recruiter at Central says we will be spilt up for all 4 weeks of road training. We've been together nearly 8 years and are passed the needing to handhold 24/7. As long as they can find me a lady who doesn't smoke we'll be good to go! We'll keep you guys posted on what training and life is like at Central as a couple.

okay guys i got it broke down to start july 14th or july 21st, need to make sure finances are in place. luckily i live so close to central i can do it like this. i know alot of out of towners dont have this ability and i admire them for what they are doing in their endeavors of traveling.. i chose to learn at central because of the things ive learned from other forums and alot of drivers...i have two big truck stops 20 mins. from my house, lots of info at any time..... i would like to hear from o/o on how it is working for them in their buisness since gas is so high (solo and team)... i am making this my last career change so it will be done all the way to retirement. i just hope that i can do it through one company but i know the odds are not in my favor at this point..... drive safe

Honest answers always work better when it comes to a decision as for O/O's plan to get in the miles many many miles I would say company driver would be a better choice least for a year or two.
If liv'n in a truck dosen't get to ya then look into L/O as there are some company's that there drivers are doing well Central may be one JCT is another they have pay off program.
Best of luck on your journey................... -
i agree 6pak, i plan on company for at least a year so i will know if im going to stay with central. i know teams can l/o pretty well but i dont know if solo l/o is possible with the fuel cost. central doesnt pay the l/o drivers very well to begin with..
