Good information, DY. I was always one of the ones that got my check on Thursday, not Friday, at my last job. We determined that those who got it early credit union accounts.
They have told me I would get $25 a day during orientation, which is 4 days. They have told me that the following Monday I could start driving with a trainer. If not, then I will receive $75 per day while I wait to get a trainer.
When is payday?

Oh, also any reimbursement due me will be included along with my first paycheck. For instance, they will be giving me the cost of a bus ticket because I will be driving out instead.
-
Oh yeah you're a student so they won't just be giving you a truck at the end of orientation
They did reimburse my rental car & gas receipts to get to orientation -- wound up costing $20 more than the bus ticket, but they paid it all...Dreamboat Thanks this. -
A troll! Shocker.

Every Friday AM, cutoff Tuesday midnight. Direct deposit. I spoke with Connie Anderson, a genuinely excellent person and a wonderfully adept performer, and Conway Truckload pays on the Empty Call form submission. Send your Empty Call by Tuesday midnight, that load mileage goes in your settlement/pay deposit that Friday.

Hoping dreamboat's gotten paid since July 10 and figured it all out...
-
Yeah, except I get paid on DISPATCHED miles, which I think comes long before "empty load" form.
-
Right, as far as it goes. You get paid all dispatched miles, once you've made your delivery and submitted your Empty Call form. You'll get paid for those miles Friday morning if you send the form by Tuesday midnight. Do not expect to get paid on the dispatch until you've delivered and submitted the Empty Call form, you'll be disappointed.

Are you an O/O, Jim? I thought you were an employee.
