Ok, I would like to know who makes the largest standard sleeper???
Will probably be purchasing my own truck within the next year and I'm trying to know what to look for/ or at.
MAIN concern is the bed. I REFUSE to purchase a truck that I have to sleep seperate from my wife. Sorry for those of you who don't like your wives. But I like mine. All the company trucks we had had seperate bunks and the bottom bed was just to small for "sleeping" in. Fun yes, sleeping no.
Full size would be acceptable (approximate or as close to that as can be). Being as she won't be out full time. But when she IS in the truck, we want to be comfortable without having to sleep seperately
Trying to stay within standard sleepers for Length, Weight, etc; reasons. Don't need an apartment sleeper. We were basically happy with MOST sleepers we had other than the bed situation.
This is NOT about trucks, This is about sleepers. Is this something I can get standard and have just not seen it? Do I have to go "custom" sleeper? Do I order the truck without anything IN the sleeper and just have someone aftermarket fill it in? If that's possible. An apartment sleeper is unnecessary for us. Nice I'm sure. But unnecessary.
Ok, advice. Opinions.
Thanks

I believe the kenworth studio sleeper and the 80" on Pete 579s are the largest factory. Volvo has a 78". Not sure what size bed they come with, you will probably have to build it out yourself.

Look at western star, they can be ordered with a bigger bed, Pete used to make a sleeper with a fold down full size bed don't know if they still do.

Custom sleepers made in Indiana. Goshen or Elkhart ? Order truck without bunk get one of theirs.

Forgot about star, they have an 82

Also the some of the aftermarket guys will take a stock factory sleeper and reconfigure the interior to about anything you might want.
Not that you want to go cutting up a brand new truck, but I have seen worst. -

well back when there were cab overs Pete made a double sleeper with a double bed, question is does your wife always want to sleep with you?

Kenworth has an 86" Studio. But the bed is horrible to sleep on. I considered a T660 with the 86" Studio,.. but that couch bed would have to be yanked and replaced with a real bed.
