When you park in a middle row, back to back, it's not a bad thing to make sure the back of your trailer is at the line.

Exactly! Here is a idea...! HAlf the spots belong to dry van parking only. The other half of spots are for refrigerated parking only. Flatbedders can park in dirt lots or out on the road cause everyone knows they can^t back up anyway!!!! R.V.ers will be tarred and feathered...

The entire area he's in looks to be off limits, left & right, its no issue, no one is the parking police. Does cast some light on the attitude drivers have though.

It's just a courtesy to the other guys so they don't have to worry about both sides of their trailer when backing in (by leaving as many "passenger side" spots open as possible.)

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

I'm one that believes in respecting other people. But if there is a parking spot with 2 yellow lines to back into, it shouldn't matter if its beside another truck or not. Don't mean to sound hateful but the way I see it is if you cant back in between two trucks.....Don't. Go find a spot that you feel comfortable backing into. I would never attempt to start backing into a spot where 9 truckers where either on the cb radio or standing out in front of my truck motioning like they are swatting nats on which way to turn the wheel. Dang, just don't try it. Its self centered to hold up 15 truckers lined up to get by you for 15 minutes. As time goes by. That guy that couldn't back in the whole will be able to pull in some day and hit reverse and back it in without even having to pull up to get straight.

    HorseShoe Thanks this.

Hell I am just happy to pull into a truckstop and people are actually parked in spaces and not the driveway...

Seriously, anyone out here should be able to back between two trucks. They're just lazy and inconsiderate is all. And if they can't back, they won't get any better by not trying. To those few that take pride enough and are respectful enough to park properly, we that are oversized thank you.
