I am looking into trucking but have felonies

"It's been my dream to drive". Since when? Because there's been a few bumps in your road to get there. Was this dream there since you were young? Or since that bad decision train doesn't allow stops at other career choices........

 

Don't feel bad, i got a felony to and I have a C.D.L. and I'm currently working for a medium sized carrier.

 

You're good to go. The next step is to contact the unemployment office, even though your employed, and ask about state funding for CDL school if you can't afford to pay yourself.
Several companies will hire you after you get that CDL school certificate. Carolina Cargo, which has already been mentioned, will probably hire you and give you a pre-hire letter to show the CDL school.
This company runs hard and runs legal, coast to coast.
It's doubtful a trucking company CDL school will take you, but sometimes they cut some slack for felons, so try a few and maybe luck out. If no luck try the private school and look for the cheapest one which is usually a community college.
Many trucking company websites have something about felons, but ignore that and apply anyway. They bend their own hiring rules.

DK1290 won't have any problems finding work in trucking and making decent money. Many drivers, including new ones, have much worse felony records than DK1290 and they're doing just fine.
Many truckers are serious felons and just haven't been caught.

I agree 100%. Its a huge industry. Plenty of work to go around. And theres tons of people in all kinds of different work fields that commit felonies, just like ya said, they havent been caught.
