Here's a thought. If sending a driver into NYC, having correct directions would dang sure help!!!! Directions I was given, put me some place I really shouldn't have been. Took out a tree limb and ticked some people off. Oh well.
Thank goodness one of our other drivers, had given me a NYC map.it saved my butt!!!

Well tomorrow is the day of reckoning. Road test time. I'm sure I'll do fine but I'm extremely nervous. All I have to do is pass then off to trans am for orientation next week. Those that pray say a prayer for me in Jesus name it would be much appreciated. To those on the road be safe and maybe before long we shall be passing each other on the highways.

You are going to do great, texashounddog! I have no doubt that you will be OTR soon. Good thoughts being sent your way and prayers sent up.

Good luck, but I doubt that you will need it, you will do fine!

Humph! Story of my life, a who woman wants one more thing. I will admit chocolate is a bit more reasonable than marriage or a baby, that has been demanded of me in the past

I'll be rollin back out Thursday. As I type this I have bbq'd chicken and ring bologna on the grill, corn on the cob on the stove, and the satisfaction of not doin a dadgum thing all day. Good times. Altho as I look at the lawn I suspect I'll be mr landscaper tmaro. Both my divas came down with the tummy flu so of courSe I got it too. Other than that it's been swell. Spent the day Sunday out on my bro in laws pontoon boat. Was most excellent until we lost the propellor lol had to call mi padre out at 8 Sunday night to come give us a tow upriver. Was totally worth it tho.
How's y'all's weeks goin?HometimeQueen Thanks this. -
Thank you htq and passport. I'm sure I'll do fine. I'm referring to the test to get my cdl though. But I'm sure it will go well I always get nervous before tests. I should b testing around 9am ct. I will post results as soon as I'm done. After I tell my wife of course. Speaking of which she was unable to get out of the jury summons so there is high likely hood she won't be able to see me off when I go to trans am for orientation. Needless to say she ain't too happy about it. I will try to get trans am to get me an bus ride late afternoon maybe that will help. Oh well we will see it is in God's hands.
HometimeQueen Thanks this. -
I'll be praying for your tests, TXhounddog. Surely you are nervous. .goes with the territory, but you'll do fine. Hope things work out for your wife to see you off for TA orientation. I know how she feels. Will be praying for both of you about that. Smart man, leaning on God for help!HometimeQueen Thanks this.

Just take your time TeX. Remember this is a marathon not a sprint and you'll do fine.
I am in Milton, Pa. rescuing a Tyson load. Going to Mass for morning delivery right outside of Boston. Should be fun.
Flash local drivers in NYC use Hagstrom maps. Block by block addresses. You can find them in most gas stationsHometimeQueen and Panhandle flash Thank this.
