Check-in clerk at plastic warehouse: You acted frustrated and looked at me like I was a turd because I simply came to your window to check in. Nothing but the stink eye to you!

Dock worker at plastic warehouse: Also took care of check-out paper work, nice, friendly, spoke to me like I was an actual human. Two Cheese Cake Pastries for you!

Driver at the Pilot: He pulled up to the pay line after he was done fueling, walked back to me at the pump and said "I was planning on brushing my teeth, then grabbing a hot dog and soda before I come back out. Is my truck going to be ok there for a few minutes?". Why yes driver, your truck will be fine. Do what you need to do. And for being considerate to you fellow driver, enjoy this Cheese Cake Pastry as a desert to your hot dog meal!

Believe me I am very tempted right now, Would problebly make the same for less work when all is said and done. Just waiting till the car is paid off which will be the beginning of the year as I don't want that payment to add to the stress of learning ropes out there. Also by then the 1 thing I do have on my record should be clear then so I am able to possibly get more than bottom feeders for a company.

 

Passport, the ladies in the front office will love you, if you manage to get some of that to them. None go to the dispatch crew tho. Am seriously irate with those clowns!!!!

 

^ I thought about it, I know bringing them a gift is a good idea, but it seems weird to me. Somehow unethical to bring rejected product, even if I was given authorization to dispose of it, that at one time belonged to a customer back to the trucking company.

I don't know, I will think about it, I will still have plenty left by the time I get back to the yard.

Am a little perturbed, make that livid, at my company right now. The dispatch crew was notified by safety, 2 months ago, that my medical certification, ran out this Sunday. They chose to wait till yesterday, to tell me about it. Am sitting in Mechanicsburg waiting to do one.

Yes, I know, I'm a big boy and should've been checking on it myself. Pretty mad at me also.

 

That's exactly what I'm afraid of plus, what if I have any issues here? Went home 2 months ago and it could've been done then.

What I'm really worried about tho, is it getting attached to my CDL. Just having the card is not enough anymore.
