Anyone having any experience starting out as a new driver with Schneider Canada? I met with them not long ago and their pay package seems very good as well as their training. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I think you could probably do better, Schneider is a meat-grinder.
-
I am sure there are better companies. The money they are offering in the first year is really the only thing that is attracting me to them. I have my eye on Kriska.
-
I have also been looking at Schneider in terms of what they are offering rookie drivers. It seems a number of companies I have looked at are requiring contracts, Schneider not one of them, and it could be up to two years. Schneider seems to make sense for getting that experience but like flyguy curious on others experience with them

Do they offer the choice board in Canada?
-
Not sure,

I phoned today, they don't.

I have been a OTR driver for sometime and KRISKA is one of the companies I hardly ever hear any negatively about .

only on the TRUCKSTOP CANADA forum but then the only ones left posting there hate 99.9% of all companies

I have talked with a couple of there drivers in person and have been chatting online with a couple of newbies as well and they all have good things to say.
