Find something you like to do; become exceptionally proficient in that activity; charge accordingly.

Ever see 2 trucks get tangled up? 99%of the time, it's a pair of bottomfeeders dragracing at 60 mph, both hogging the zipper. Notice how they want to base the entire industry off the beancounting bottomfeeder? Hence that stupid 30 minute break ruling. Last summer, we were cutting down Nebraska and Kansas, 400 miles of 2 lane, no shoulder, and we are suppose to pull over for 30 minutes. Safe? You force a superload off the highway and back on, both times tying up all traffic. Every time you pull in and out of a parking lot, you're putting everyone at risk.

The speed limit thing will be like Ohio was for decades. Huge clumps of traffic moving slowly down the road. Sometimes, I wonder if the government uses the traffic laws as sort of a population control.

No his name is money. BIG RED is a name I got in the army. NASCAR jackets were popular and I had a wrigley's big red coat I would wear. One night were doing a field exercise and my squad was on guard, my squad leader comes over the SINGARS and calls for "big red". It stuck lol

10 years later. How did we do in our predictions of the future. Sad note is some of the names of members a decade ago. JD and MJ, Big 69.

5 years ago on this day, I was living in Houston. I went home to see the Great MOM. There was this big travel ban and the Texas bears were protecting their borders from people traveling from Louisiana.

I had stayed away from Mom for 4 months. Tornado hit and mom’s house lost power. I gave mom some candles, opened up the front door and sat in the recliner with a Shockwave loaded with buckshot and slugs. They weren’t sending cops out for armed robbery and “lesser crimes.”

Mom was in a little pain and she asked me to take her to the hospital. Emergency gall bladder surgery. I told mom that as soon as the anesthesia wears off, you have to get up and walk, otherwise you catch pneumonia and die. Mom didn’t walk. She called me July13th. Mom died July 15, doctors said from Covid. Mom didn’t have Covid, they tested her before admitting her to the hospital. My sister and I had to get tested after this. They jam a gigantic q-tip in your nose. A day later, I lost my sense of taste and the state sent mandatory confinement to the house for 2 weeks. Pissed off? No, pissed off would be describing a good mood.

There was a zoom funeral. My sister blamed me for coming home, said I gave mom COVID. Mom’s doctor told my sister that mom didn’t have Covid like the resident doctor said. Pneumonia. But in those days, you could swan dive off a skyscraper and they would put Covid on the death certificate.

Anyways, if you have loyal friends and loved ones, be sure to appreciate them. They are extremely rare.

    Six back quiet.
