Trans Am Still

They know how to do their own laundry. Everything is divided up around here, we each do our share of the work. The problem was that nobody wanted to swap chores with me!

 

They don't go in that part of the house. Dogs aren't very smart when it comes to snakes .....maybe I need a little pig!

 

I keep seeing reports about fires and then bridges collapsing in California. Is any of that affecting your travels, Pete? scott?

dang if I hit the pacific I'm doin somethin wrong...course maybe I'd get lucky and get sucked in the undertow for a couple thousand miles n become part of the food chain.

HTQ...I too hate snakes. Uncommonly so. In fact I squeal like a small child if I see one on tv. Makes me pucker right up. If I ever got one in my house id sell the dang house.

 

Oooh, HTQ, all I can say is that you're lucky it was only a black snake that you slammed your dirty clothes basket down on! Shew, Girl......darn lucky! I think I would have had a heart attack or the vapors or something freaky like that. I hate, hate, hate snakes/am spooked by them (You get the picture, I'm sure!)!!!! When my kids were young, I was going down the lane from the house to get the mail, one day, and saw a big black snake across the lane. You better believe I turned around and didn't waste any time speed walking back to my house! Only had 2 girls then, and they were at the house napping. Good luck with that varmint!

I echo HTQ ' S wishes/best of luck, Texashounddog! How old are your girls? I know how they feel about being anxious for you to return home, even if for them it's to see your truck. When George (my husband) leaves, I'm definitely anxious for his return. At least he isn't out as long now, which is awesome! Praying all goes well and for safe travels.

 

Jung My girls are 8 and 9. My 9 year old likes to be with me all the time and doin what I am doin. From gardening and cooking to working on the car. My 8 year old isn't so interested in that stiff though she likes to help She is the type just to go with the flo. And content with about any situation. She likes hangin with me but for her it is just the being with me more than the helping. Except for cooking

 

Made it all the way to Sacramento without a single traffic snarl. I feel like I should go buy a lottery ticket. Or knock on wood. You make it outta kalifornia yet Pete?
