A married couple that I golf with have been with US Xpress for the past 7 years. They are happy with the miles. The only complaint I hear from them about the company is that the terminals are almost like going into a "Chucky Cheese" with all the immature drivers they encounter.

My wife and I avoid the terminals because most of them are run down.

I have been teaming for 2 years with my hubby.

How much does us xpress pay?

    I wonder about quest too.

I hate calling and talking to a salesperson. Never know if you can believe a word they say.

    Ma'am;
I'm a little late in jumping in here, but I just finished 18 months with USX. I did Solo for more than 10 months at .32 cpm (Almost all of it North East) but heard about "Team Max" and found a co-driver in July of 2015.
BTW, I'm a retired pilot with 42 years of 10 and 12 hours in the ####pit, and I drive 11 hours on a 12 hour shift. My partner is younger but also drives 11 hours on his shift, so we don't do a lot of stopping. We split .52 CPM as we both have Haz Mats.
Let me tell you the straight up on this "Team Max": They say you get a bonus for over 6,000 miles and a bonus for staying out more than 45 days. Total should be around $2,200.00 a week for each driver.
HOWEVER every time my regular dispatcher gives us a trip over 2,000 miles for the week end, the week end dispatcher takes it away and puts us on short trips that could be done by a solo or Regional driver, usually in the NE.
Today for instance we are waiting on an appointment load that can't be unloaded until tomorrow. We picked it up yesterday in Baltimore, mileage is around 900 miles. Last week was the same.
In 6 months we have gotten 5 bonuses and our checks normally are around $1100.00 each.
VERY DISAPPOINTING! We always get our loads in a day early to try to get higher miles, but it doesn't work. We did two resets last week, and I hate sitting around! Love seeing the country with a team, especially the North West, but have been trapped in two blizzards so far, not fun.
At first we thought it was a part of the job, but after 7 weekends of losing loads in the last 5 months it's not a coincidence, and it seems to be mostly one dispatcher.
We don't gripe, we just like to do our job and drive, so we can't figure out what's happening.
I'm calling our reg dispatcher tomorrow and asking him to resolve this, but as it is right now we are both looking at leaving and I'm researching Quest. If USX paid us bonuses we'd be really well off, as it is it's just "Blue Sky" when they tell you you'll get over 6,000 miles a week. Fat Chance!
Also, they pay you your "stay out" bonus of .05 a mile AFTER you come back from your home time. AND you don't get the first 45 days. So if you stay out 90 days, after your home time is done you get the bonus for 45 days.
I've been in this truck right now since July 28th, with 10 days off in October.Get along good with my team mate, but that's because we leave our egos at home and do 12 on, 12 off for a regular sleep cycle (I taught Aeromedical Physiology as a Senior Captain in my old career, so I'm a little familiar with the Circadian Rhythm on working cycles for crews).
Sadly enough I love this company and don't want to leave, but I'm supposed to be making money, being in a love fest with the company doesn't pay the bills.

Check Abilene Motor Express; lots of drop & hook and lots of coast to coast. This company hires many Florida drivers.

Many of the same complaints you post about USX have also been posted about Quest Global. Can't find any negative posts about Abilene Motor Express.
