I always get a refund. I want nearly all my money each pay day, so the taxes taken out are not much. I also own property and pay taxes on the home, car and the interest payments on my 2 mortgages are tax deductions as well.

this works for a person like me, but for a single person, no property, it very well may not. But in the end, I do not want more taxes taken out each week, i want that money now, not at the end of the year.

Why let the government use YOUR money? They sure aren't going to pay you interest on it!

exactly, which is yet another in the reasons I have less taxes taken out weekly. it feels better in my checking account than thiers, where they will only spend it on what...pay raises for themselves, vacations to Havana, condoms for their mistresses..????

$50,000 a year used to be good money! You could own a 3-2-2 home, a late model or new car, and own a few toys also.

To me, $50,000 a year is not great deal of money anymore. The Thugs that own the Federal Reserve devalue the currency by 2% each year. Compound that every 20 years and your earnings take a hit of almost 50%!

If you are a young man in your 20's, late in your lifetime you will have to make almost $100,000 just to get by.

As of right now with all of my deductions out of my paycheck I am bringing home 42% of my gross pay. A lot of that is going in my 401K because I want to retire when I can still get around to see more places and do more things that my job won't let me do now. Just have to manage your money and learn to live with in it's means. It really is that simple.

And sadly there are folks that could be making a million bucks a year, and "not be able to get by" on it.
I wonder, does Darwinism have a "financial" side to it, as well as a "mortal" side?
