This one is so easy it's funny. Watch the signs, don't speed. See how easy that was!
If you are caught speeding, no crying in court, no blaming the officer, no blaming the GPS.SlowPoke44magnum, blairandgretchen, EndHatred and 1 other person Thank this. -
I got a warning at 62mph once several years ago in North Ca, but it was obvious he just wanted to check out the truck, The truck passed... Mostly ran 60-65 through there, and now dont run down there at all!
I have had one speeding ticket in 31 years and that was 62 MPH in Oregon and was wrote by the then famous "Klamath Falls cop" OHP. I dont remember the fine amount, but was around 150.00 by the time I actually paid it.
I run I-90 from Spokane to Seattle a lot and just set the cruise at 65-66, they dont even give me a second look.EndHatred Thanks this. -
The CHP in the desert are usually pretty lenient. They have plenty of four wheelers doing 90+ mph to write high dollar tickets to.
Heck I was getting passed by big trucks on CA99! -
That is easy for us common sense people but sadly, common sense is very lacking to many drivers. They would rather blame our brave men and woman in uniform (LEOs) their dispatchers or anything else they can come up with.EndHatred Thanks this.

I love that section of 95 headed north from needles with those small humps! I agree them guys out there are more lenient, and I think for the most part all the CHP's are pretty fair as long as they don’t see anything dangerous going on.

Showing up to court and the officer not showing up. And one of them when I showed up they didn't have my paperwork. But yeah for most part officer didn't show upEndHatred Thanks this.

Wow that' cheap, but how long did it take you to work off the points?
Cause they were texting their wives.! Ok they're people too, cool.
Way too many 90mph 4 wheelers if you ask me.
That's super duper fantastic, thanks .Would you say you run exactly the speed limit or a little over or a little under?
Blame games, yup some never change do they? Glad you're a responsible fellow!
Interesting. the last court I was in my lawyer didn't show up! Go figure. The Patriot and Mr.X Thank this. -
In heavy traffic I go with the flow and leave ample space for safety and a little extra to allow people to merge or make lane changes. Open highway I try to run 4-6 mph over. I think its best to just try to not be an obstacle and allow everyone some space to manoeuvre.EndHatred Thanks this.

Excellent advice for everyone. I had a bear tell me once they never go after anyone unless they are clocked at 5mph over, so I never do.Mr.X Thanks this.
