Dude they were in the middle of the parking lot, guys waiting to back in, and they were cleaning out their truck and sweeping the trailer. Good grief.

Eh they finally figured it out. Man since I started meditating and pretending everything is awesome I've had a lot less stress.

Well Jaso and htq I will stay strong on that matter. I however have rAn my own business. They made the mistake of giving me the price break down of all fixed costs. I figured it all out and figured out fuel costs as well. I figured for different mileages per week at 2200 miles one would clear about 220 bucks at 2500 miles a week a little over 500 a week at 3000 a week about 800 weekly. Where does that add up to 138,000 a year. I'd like to see their math. I figured this just for fun and to show others. Is like to see how they claim that leasers make what they claim. At what I figured you'd have to run about 9000 miles in a week every week to make that at what they pay. According to my calculations on lease 3000 miles is the only descent pay check you'd get lease which is still less than what you'd get as company driver for the same mileage. I think it is a bit crooked to be blind siding new drivers with these unrealistic expectations. Ok rant over. Yall b safe out there

Keep up the good work, texashounddog! We have always felt that the lease was taking advantage of people that are just trying to make a living. They play to the desire that most of us have to make a better living and they use that to talk folks into something that is not in their best interest.,,,,but greatly benefits the company. Once you get through orientation they will most likely never bring up leasing again.

Leasing is OK but you really need to.know this industry well. Know when they short you and how to get your money from them. Fueling is tricky. Certain states look cheaper on pump but have higher IFTA taxes. Going from point A to point B is the easy part it is everything in between that makes this tough. Texas you sound like you have the right idea just stay strong.
