I copied you and upgraded to a 24". I love the new truck but they put the inverter and tv mount on opposite sides of the sleeper.

Hey white dog, why are you coming into this thread bashing drivers? What makes one driver happy might not be the next guys cup of tea. Yes we stay out 3 weeks or longer, but after working those 3 weeks we can take off as much time as we choose( within reason). I just came back after 8 days off, last month I was home for 7 consecutive days. Not to mention I get by the house once or twice in between my scheduled hometime.
So if you just want to come here and put drivers down for how long they stay out..... do us all a favor a troll on another thread. -
Inverter behind drivers set is a little inconvenient, ran a power cord over with 3 plug end. There is a 12v plug at the right side above the shelf. FYI. Microwave in put in, the cord was 3 inches to short, another extensive cord.
Woobie Thanks this. -
When I get the weekdays off like you, my wife is at work and all my home time is devoted to hunting in the fall and fishing in summer. Nothing wrong with that!
-
You don't get quality time if you're only home for two days. Magnum has me going out 3wks and home 3-5 days. Just waiting to get cleared on background. Gonna like it as far as I can tell plus the trucks are better equipped than where I came from. You can live more comfortably with a fridge and inverter in the truck

Would they care if I transfer my xm subscription to the radio in the truck
-
It shouldn't matter to them at all but XM told me they would charge me $15 to swap it over. I decided not to then she said "we can do the transfer for only $5 if you want to still switch it." I am a big tight wad and decided to keep my newly purchased XM receiver since I have only had it for a few months so far.
-
I agree!
Why the hell are you here to begin with White Dog? No one here gives a rats ### what you want or need. If Magnum isn't what your looking for as far as hometime then so be it but what's the point of your blathering nonsense that Magnums hometime policy isn't for you, who cares. Move on. Lots of OTR drivers would prefer to be home but can't find local jobs that meet their financial goals. I prefer to be home everyday but I also have bills to pay and can't afford to take a typical local job. As far as being home every weekend goes, enjoy. That works for some and not for others, some people like taking a week off after 3 weeks. Why not respect that fact instead of spewing your horse #### here. Did you make that same post in every OTR company thread?cdavis188, runningman0661, Cranky Yankee and 1 other person Thank this.
