    In the process of buying a 2010 CHU613. 485 MP8 18 spd. 3.90 rear. Set up heavy spec with bigger front and rear axles. Has a non def DPF system. Any maintenence tips or chronic issues to be aware of? I know they had injector cup issues, this one had them replaced with the updated parts. Ive always liked Mack, so Im looking foward to owning this one. Im trading my 07'Pete 387 with a 475 Cat. From what I hear, the power is identical.

    If it's possible, I would get some type of ext. warranty. My '09 in my avatar had the same DPF setup, the occasional CEL for it, usually had to have a parked regen about once a week. AS for the injector cups, mine were replaced twice. The first time was a reman'd with the original type of cups, a year later, they went out again, it was $6,000+ to replace them with the updated. Just before we sold the truck off, I had some other fuel related issues that we suspected of being the cups again. The farmer that bought it in March, as near as we can tell has not had problems. Truck had 578K on it.

    Thanks, I bought a 2yr 200k warranty on it. What is CEL?

    Check out the recall on the EPDM. Google it. My 2010 CXU613 burned down in December.
