When they start throwing numbers around on the leasing bit, ALWAYS ask..... is that to the truck or the driver! !!

Its Monday they start with the leasing. They hard sell it. They call it training but you will see. They make the numbers look real good. You can do well but have to have knowledge of industry to make it work. Have to be on top of your game at all times. My taxable income last year with 2 months off was nice there but not very many do that. Stay strong Texas

Saw something that seemed out of place the other night and was only wondering how this person got any sleep between 2 running reefers who were also idling.

I parked next to a motor home at a rest area in PA a little over a year ago. Dimwit comes knocking on my sleeper to complain about my refer running right next to his bed (refer was off, it was my APU), asks me if I could park some place else. Luckily I had not fallen asleep yet. He was kind of right, the APU was kicking off RIGHT at his pull out.

Told him if he can't stand the heat, to get out of the kitchen. I said I was out of hours and could not move, told him he was parked among commercial vehicles and I was parked right where I was supposed to be and I was going to stay parked right where I was for about 8 hours. Truth is, I could have moved and if he had knocked and ask more politely, I might have done something for him. He just did circles, acted like he was going to jump up on my truck and get in my face, basically just made a fool of himself and then walked off.

Let me be sure that I have this right. Men from Tennessee stole a truck in Memphis, came to Missouri....to steal a trailer full of toilet paper...:biggrin_25521:......Missouri toilet paper must be extremely valuable, I better hide my stash of extra tp! :biggrin_2559:
    SIKESTON, Mo. -

Authorities say three Memphis men are accused of trying to steal a semi trailer loaded with toilet paper valued at $70,000.

KFVS-TV reports that the trio - ages 36, 42 and 51 years old - were arrested early Sunday after Sikeston and Missouri state police saw them drive off with the trailer from a Sikeston trucking company.

Officers at the time were monitoring the company after other thefts from it had been reported.

KFVS says the semi tractor used in Sunday's alleged theft had been stolen that night from a trucking company in Memphis.

All of the men are charged with felony stealing. Sikeston police say the investigation continues.

How long have you worked for them? Do you get good miles every week?

I saw an ad the other day from them offering .44 cpm and .46 cpm with hazmat endorsement. This is out of the tampa, florida area. The pay looks good, but I'm just wondering about the miles.
