Ok I am at a shop that just replaced 2 injectors when they got done start up sounded terrible but it leveled out after a bit. They just ran it up the road and each shift seen the white smoke just rolling.
Upon pulling back in its still smoking is this normal?

You also have air in the system that will take a while to get out.

Ok just figured if it was burn off an hour idle and a we min drive would have cleared it up but had not. But 50 miles down the road after leaving all was clear. Thanks guys for the response.

Yep but something still is not right it idles rough every now and again the fuel mileage dropped and it slightly jerks if I get above 1500 in gear but don't blow white smoke anymore just the normal black. Will be near home area tomorrow and have it hooked up to a computer. Called the shop that got it going again asked about symptoms they just said no clue get ecm read. Sounds promising. NOT!
At first thought I was imagining it but the guy that changed a flat said it sounded rough when I pulled in but before I left it sounded fine.

Engine? Proper injector height adjustment is usually not done by some places after replacement.

That's what I am thinking. Just not right after you drive your truck for a while you can just feel and hear when something goes amiss. Like the tire it did not blow just lost the air from a seam and just felt weird and the hum of the tires was off.

I had the white smoke once, turned out 2 wires going from the ECM toward than fan were not in place and slightly burned.
