Trans Am Still

Hahahahahaha awesome!

I'm 'enjoying' extended home time lol the way things worked out where I hadda be at home for some doctor appointments and a wedding (including a sleep study dang sleep apnea) frankly I'm looking at some other options. Love driving and need my own dedicated truck to do it in.

 

Well....come to think of it.....the big dog purrs like a cat when he's happy....there have been some reports of people seeing a mountain lion in the area.....hmmmmmm. Oh well, I don't care what they are so long as they are good critters.
I bake them dog cookies...which they love and I have to hide from Number Two Daughter because she loves them too! I thought I would try something new to tempt my dog's appetite because she wouldn't eat while she was sick. Everyone says dogs like sweet potato flavored dog cookies, so I made them some. They would take them and wait till my back was turned and spit them out.....fortunately, Number Two Daughter thought they were pretty good and ate them all!

You sure do have a sweet little girl, scott. Treasure every minute, they grow up way too fast. Pretty soon she will be bringing home some boy that you will despise from the moment you lay eyes on him!

I'm sorry the job isn't all that you hoped it would be. Slip seating adds an extra kink into an already difficult job. No chance of it working out? The King started out slip seating on this job. He worked from 6pm to 6am and the other driver worked 6am to 6pm. It was alright because they liked, trusted and respected one another ....no problem with leaving equipment in the truck, etc. Even at that it was different and had it's little glitches. It was doable but not quite as comfortable as always having your truck set up for yourself. About a month ago, the fleet manager called and said they would add another truck if the King wanted to work days that there were more opportunities for everyone available.

 

Headed back out tomorrow picking up at QVC Rocky Mount headed to Maumee (Toledo) OH UPS. Been there before. Nice folks. Trying to remember their names. Should start writing them down. First repeat trip with Cargo.

 

Well Not many Options for me for OTR since Prime Screwed my DAC Talked to a Recruiter from Trans Am Yesterday an she said she's going to get ahold of My original recruiter Jimmie since she had me Approved Before an have her verify my New Employment since previously being Approved If I do go with them Trust me I know DONT LEASE!!! Pretty sure that part is Burned into my Memory if not from when I originally started talking to yall or from My recent Re-Reading of the Old Thread DO NOT LEASE!! Company only an only long enough to get a enough Experience to get in with a Better Conpany

 

Florida and now New York. Question is what's gonna happen to those they believe got their CDLs through these idiots.

I'm pretty easy going when it comes to trucks and working conditions etc...slip seating can be alright. Problem is when you DONT know, or trust, the other cats drivin. Things can get sideways real quick. And I HATE he said/she said drama. 'It was him!' 'No it was him!' Ugh. I have a good record and decent experience driving just about everything so I'm not sweating it.

 

Dude I KNOW! Sins coming home to roost. Argh!
