I'm at home in AZ, it's really hot out. Best part of my life is first day of school tomorrow. YEAH! Then Steve is comming home, before heading out again before comming back for yet another trip to Disneyland. Then maybe a camping trip and then Hawaii. I bet I could fit in another Disney trip between camping and Hawaii. I think Steve works just for us to have fun when he's home. Stay safe guys and gals.

Still sitting here waiting for a message that my trailer is ready and I can start to roll. Hate these loads up all day and then have to push. Will be stopping in Walcott and then in the morning push on to Big Springs, NE and drop on Friday and get a preloaded to IGH for a t-call on Saturday and then supposed to get at least one for 1k miles or little more for Wednesday. Hope can finish the week at 2900 miles. Really need it. Need fuel and do not like the price at this Pilot, $2.99/gal. Should have stopped in MI yesterday where it is cheaper.

At home near Phoenix. I just knocked off another 4000 mile week without meaning to.
I had a nice 2900 mile week in the bag when I t-called in OKC on Monday. My 1095 mile Jenks-Phoenix load that I picked up on Tuesday was supposed to be on next weeks settlement (and let me break even for the week I'm taking off) except I t-called it in Phoenix today. Since I only spent $350 on fuel to run the load should make for a very nice week indeed.

I guess if you're gonna screw up that the preferred way to do it.

Here 50 miles east of N. Platte. Thought about going there but considering the time was not taking a chance on no parking. Well my DM went on vacation this week and before he left he found one last way to screw up my miles. My load that I was picking up in Denver and t-calling in IGH turns out to t-call in Edwardsville on Saturday. Then a pplan to pick up there on Sunday and deliver on Wednesday on Tolleson. Whopping 1k miles for 3.5 days, so get to end up with 2800 miles for the week.

squeak ... start calling the planners directly. You can get the number of the area you are going to be in with Mac 34.

After I drop tomorrow, I'm stacked on 2 Swift and 1 Command through Tuesday morning for 1800 miles on top of the 700 I've already run.

Enjoying Lancasters hospitality tonight. As always the evening Gals had a decent spread for dinner.

Came off home time yesterday with a pick up in New Caney TX to Springfield MO. A heavy pallet load. Grabbed an mty at the terminal and went on up to the DC. I'm sure most of you know which Shipper. Arrive at the gate and they won't let me in unless I'm bobtail..WTF!! Must be bobtail to P/U, they said they get enough trailers from inbound loads.

After some BS back and forth with my terminal I take the mty back to the yard and return to the shipper (60 mile round trip). Get to the office and they can't find the paperwork or the trailer..great!! Let Swift know of the issue and then waited two hours till the Logistics boss came out and said a Swifty picked it up the day before. So a couple more hours of back and forth with clueless CSRs and planners with no end in sight and finally my terminal mgr called me and said that's it!! You're off the load and voided it. Thank You Boss!!

He had me return to the terminal and take a previously screwed up load on the yard across town for a live unload this morning. Then stacked me with a run from Baytown TX to Ottawa KS, then another from there to Chicago. Delivery times are nice and tight so I don't have to waste time waiting to get done with each.

I like it when someone just cuts through the BS and takes care of their people.

Yeah, I know. The problem, I was going to be in 2 areas that are hard to get a decent plan on a Friday or Saturday. Denver and Edwardsville and I have been in areas a lot lately that even Command can not help. I do not mind that load to Tolleson for Wednesday. Just going to take the day and night off and hit the hotel. At least it will be the most miles in 7 days then I have seen in at least 4 months. My DM is falling down on the job and the 2 times that I have called a planner, I was told that it was to soon to be calling them and then when I got closer all that they had were short loads with lots of time. I keep getting in bad areas, HEHE
