    Yup...
Thread links bellow. Please note that occasionally a poster will tell the OP that they are misunderstanding. That the money due is if you leave before your CDL training contract is up. According to the OP's this is not the case, as they did not attend Roehl's CDL school.

Lightside, I believe that if you go with Roehl's CDL training they do not charge an EXTRA 3k, but your still on the hook for paying out your obligation for the CDL training.

My recruiter said I would only have to pay back what I owed for the CDL training. But then again I didn't specifically ask about the that scenario and press him for more info when I found out that I wouldn't be running true 48 states.

If that is the case then that's no big thing. The recruiter I had was great. Very helpful. Said I could take the truck home and also mentioned I'd be mostly in the SW. Don't have any problem with it because I intend to do a full year or more there. Class size is only 4 as well.

Huh, that's interesting. Saying that as long as you stick it out....

Lightside, I think if I was working for a company that didn't have a terminal close to home I would have a hard time believing they're gonna get me home very often.

Im about as green as they come though so take that FWIW.

I'm just as green as you, but my impression is that the bigger companies don't care much about terminal locations. I know Prime and Swift (I'm sure most others) have drop yards available, (if not full blown terminals) or will make arrangements at other facilities for your home time.

Just when you think you've found THE company they mention the contract. Good grief. A bit worrying since I still owe money to the CDL school I attended. Though Roehl did mention tuition reimbursement.

LOL. Your paralyzing yourself by overthinking.

And then Chinatown throws another cog in the wheel with another perfectly good suggestion.

75000 @ 2100 miles per day is 36 days (rounded up). Can you stick it out for 36 working days?

Honestly, I do the same thing, overthinking stuff. :)

Well the bad thing by doing the overthinking is I've already been on the phone with 4 companies and having to tell them I am looking at another company looks bad after a while. The guy at Swift was asking who the company was lol.

Like 77smartin said.. just got to get out there and get on with it. Might just go with Swift flatbed since I am not signing another flipping contract :)
