ok so i have checked into this some more but everyone keeps saying to bring my truck in, or they have to install their filter.. the donaldson scynerio seems to be the best but you still have to get it certified and no one is saying how to do that, like its again the cheapest way to get the PM..
so has anyone in cal done the donaldson pos filter??

The local port authority should have some paperwork you have the installing shop fill out when your DOC is installed. It usually is no more than proof that you had an approved device installed in the truck, with the DOCs specific serial number tagged to the truck.

Grab a run up here to beautiful BC and we'll take care of you!

    DEZLFREK Thanks this.

So does this effect ALL the trucks that ever enter Cali or just local fleets? I'm single owner with ky authority. Run ky to Los Angeles and back with 00 Volvo Detroit s60. Also own 07 dodge ram3500 Cummings that services sacramento-los angeles registered for 26k. I did delete egr and dpf but I can always undo I guess. I was told its Cali based fleets only but I want to make sure I won't get in trouble come January.. Thanks guys!

So, here we are 3 years later and CARB is doing NOTHING to enforce ANYTHING! I see 20 year old Freighliners blowing smoke up and down I-5 all day long! Meanwhile I sit in shops 10 days every month dealing with my 2013 and its after treatment issues.
