Depends a lot on the spec and use of the trailer. The 1998 Monon I used until January had original flooring except for a patch or two, but it was requiring weekly effort to keep daylight cracks sealed.
On the other hand, when looking at a bunch of 2004 Schneider vans I could see the ground in multiple places...
Keep it dry and well supported and it should last 10+ years.

You can also try and get on some UPS or fedex work during the peak season around xmas time. They are always needing to get stuff moved for those times. Power only loads so you would not even have to spend on the trailer rental. But the work does slow down after the new year so it would not get you all the way past winter.

Good point, but they often times want a team on the truck as well.

They have team and solo stuff, but team is much better because you are more useful to them from a logistics standpoint.
