Is there a single camera (or a set of 2 as a kit) that can be used to capture critical events on a 5-10 minute interval and either save directly or broadcast to a cloud account? I want to be able to have it capture video (with a time / date stamp) what I see from behind the wheel and how I react to it to protect myself in the event of an incident.

I know what it's called, looking for recommendations from others.

I am not one for used electronic devices, unless it is a HUGE discount. I bought a used 60" flat panel TV worth about $1200(best guess) for $200 when a former resident at the property I was managing at the time left it behind with a note saying that he did not want anything left behind. The money was attached to the ledger to pay for damages he left behind.

Been running this in my LandCruiser, plan to move it to a truck if the company doesn't have them already. Or maybe even if they do.

Does it record both the driver and his view? Or would I need two?

Only fwd facing, but if you look around Amazon, I'm sure they've got one.
Good luck! -
I bought the new cobra DriveHD. I upgraded to 32 gig memory card but should have gotten 64 gig since it can handle that. It saves files in 3 minute blocks then rewrites over the first when the memory is full. It has an app on the iPhone that makes transfers to your phone for safe keeping easy. From there you can edit for size and upload to YouTube with ease. The whole package is great. It uses a fish eye view so excellent view around the close proximity of the truck. Useless for picking up a license plate at more than 15 feet in front of you. In other words. You'd have to be tail gating to see it on the video.
Wrong forum by the way.
