Mack is Volvo same corporation. Freightliners everyone can work on. Mack can be crazy solid for off road, not saying which way those are, since idk.

 

The Mack I drive beats the living h-ell outta me, but it's the best truck in our fleet.

 

I had a late 90's one in the oil field. Yeah the Mack beats you up, so you slow down. It was super tuff, drive a night hit a hole and everything is fine. Thought for sure stuff would be broke.
