You could always be a serial killer if the trucking thing doesn't work out for you. :)

He can multi-task; be a trucker and a serial killer.
Remember to disable the satellite tracking when you're stalking your next victim. Plug it back in after you're miles away from the dumping site.

I don't think you are over thinking it at all. I was a nautical nomad for 20 years, then I spent quite a few years on the road. Even though I have had a pretty good life after settling down, I still felt the urge to be some wheres else all the time. Some people are just better off being nomads.

Good luck with your decision. Check in from time to time and give us a update.

First thing you need to do is marry a very big very ugly woman that way you will want to stay out on the road and not go home. It seems to work great for me.

Met a guy in St. Martin; he was with cute blonde probably 25 yrs.or 35 yrs. younger than himself. He owned a business in NYC and got fed up with his spoiled wife and adult children. Without his wifes knowledge he sold his business and bought a sailboat; not knowing anything about sailing, he ran an ad in the paper for a navigator and a cook that would work for free and just travel to foreign countries on the sailboat with him. When I met him it seemed he and the navigator were doing the cute blonde cook, but she was happy and that's what counts. They had been sailing and having a good old time for a couple of years at that time. We tried to go to St. Barts for dinner, but the winds wouldn't permit it so we just got drunk in St. Martin and partied with some hookers from Nicaraugua. The hookers husbands were in the Army in Nicaraugua and not getting paid regularly so the wives came to St. Martin, {this was the French side of St. Martin where the women walk around naked} to make some extra cash; really beautiful women. A couple days later the guy and his two crew mates left to cross through the Panama Canal for a stop in Panama City, Panama (another wild party city) and then on to Hawaii. He said after some time in Hawaii they would head to San Francisco and by then he would be completely broke and would just live on the boat somewhere along the California coast. During all this time his wife and children were trying to have him committed saying he's crazy, but they couldn't track him down. He just laughed about it.
