Hi i did the service on my truck 09 international ISX after AC is quit on me before 2 days ago. so i replaced .. compressor, expansion valves, and dryer. i know i don't need to do that, But i did it just cause high mileage on my truck. And i read threads about that. but what i need is.. should i replace sensors (( The temperature sensors, (thermistors) )) (( evaporator outlet and inlet temperatures ))??, And do i need to computer it to rest the system or not??

You do not need a computer to reset it. Once the system detects a fault, you only need to cycle the key to reset it. As long as it doesn't detect a fault it should work. I do not recommend throwing parts at. Sensors do fail, but generally the connector and/or wiring fail first.

Thank you so much, i did change the compressor just cause the clutch start smoking from the middle
( ring is melted ) yesterday, so i said let me do the whole system. I'll keep that in mind for wiring and connectors.

If you do replace any of the sensors...keep them in your truck. Some of those sensors do not require the a/c system to be sucked out to swap out. Having an extra one in your truck could save you a hot ride for a couple days or weeks until you get to a shop if you try swapping them out or if you get extra time while getting loaded.

That and if it turns out bad at the shop...you have one on hand.

Only the pressure sensor can be replaced without recovering it. The thermistors need the system recovered in order to change them.

Thank you devedo and heavyd, I asked about that cause I watched videos on YouTube of prostar A/C system, He said 99% is the sensors. So I thought it would hurt to ask and share some info with you.. Cause you all more experience than me.
