I went over Raton pass heavy last week. The old I shift did pretty good.
tlalokay Thanks this. -
LOL @ "automated manual transmission". It's an auto transmission, just admit it.
-
Automatic transmissions have planetary gear sets and torque converters. The I shift has neither.
KANSAS TRANSIT Thanks this. -
Raton is one of the easier mountain passes in Colorado. It's the scales at Trinidad that are the PITA!
brian991219, passingthru69, KANSAS TRANSIT and 3 others Thank this. -
El Raton is pretty mild. Just go easy peasy.........all is good.
-
5th gear, I never drop below 7th on any mountain pass.
-
Ewwww. Look at me... I have a good motor...
-
went over it on Tuesday, but with 46,000 lbs it, hadn't been over it in some time, it was still as boring as I remember, only excitement is whether or not Raton scales are open
KANSAS TRANSIT Thanks this. -
