I recently applied to go into the IC program and have been approved by my dbl and safety department.

I have also applied with SFI and have sent in all ppw that they requested. The SFI told me that another SFI rep will be contacting me next week for a short interview. .
Due to a divorce my credit score has gone way down, I have been slowly trying to improve it but my score is still pretty low..

Anyone else have a similar situation? If so, how did it turn out? What kind of interview should I expect from SFI?

don't worry about your credit score being down I just went through a very expensive nasty divorce and I got approved... If you're dbl and safety department already approved you then you should have absolutely no issues with SFI.

They'll just ask you basic financial questions and ask you if you have a business plan,in other words they just want to know that you have a plan for what you want to accomplish.

Just be completely honest, and as stated have a basic plan. You should have no issues.

Yeah, I have great credit, and it helped nothing. In fact, she said they are not used to seeing such good credit. get together a business plan and you will be fine.

And don't expect your credit score to improve by leasing a truck. Only way to see it improve is to make your credit cards payments on time or pay them off. The leasing truck isnt reported to the cc bureau.

So if you fail and go down in flames that doesn't go against your credit history ..?
