That seems pretty good IMO. For a starter truck. What do the 22.5 tires do to affect pulling vans?

Well just make you check there trucks out very well because they don't check there used truck at all. Its up to the buyer to check it out dyno and dot test and which i did but the truck is at freightliner now for a week with problems so do every test thats out there but im not mad are anything just want to get rollin i haven't pull one load yet

I am not the OP....I was just commenting on part of the problem I see with trying to get financing. I actually have really good credit, with a very low debt to income ratio, and a decent down payment for a used truck. But I still don't see why the finance companies need some of the kinds of info they ask for. But I think I'm just gonna keep saving and take the advise of ICSheeple, and pay cash for a good old used truck.

I'd go Lone Mountain too. Easy to work with. And Michael, the account manager, is a great guy if you need some help sometimes.

I just made my last credit card payment. Woot! No more credit card debt. Although I've never paid interest on credit cards. I've always gotten a new card and had 18 months 0% APR. And when I started out I used one of those 12 month 0% checks they are always sending in the mail. Paid the last of that off this month.
But, credit card debt is risky with the high percentages you have to pay if you go past their promotional deadlines, and I'm done rolling the dice for now.
Only debt I have left is the $10k I owe on the truck. Interest is so cheap on that though(6%), I don't mind carrying the note. Another reason I don't want to pay it off is the truck is collateral on my commercial line of credit. Should I have a big repair bill come due and need more liquid capital I can draw more. -
Even if you pay your truck off you could still use it as collateral if needed.

If you have a paid off truck you can get a loan for up to 70% of it's value. 8%, 5 years now for example.
