    So, I've read several of these threads and also unrelated threads that seem to turn into a driver camera argument. As if we don't have enough regulation and hoops to jump through why would anyone agree to be subjected to this?

    I've seen drivers argue that the camera protects them in case of an accident or if you have nothing to hide it's no big deal.

    The old saying Just Say NO comes to mind. When will enough be enough or will we continue to bow down to the 'Man'?

    How does a camera pointed at me while I'm driving protect me?

    If I yawn 30 seconds before an accident, some lawyer will twist it and say I was too tired to drive.
    If I reach for the radio dial 10 seconds before an accident.. uh oh distracted driving! Evil truck driver.

    We don't need to give MORE tools to lawyers to screw over us truck drivers.
    If you do your job right an outward facing camera would prove that just fine.

    An alarming number of companies have traded a break in insurance rates for driver retention to install these things.

    In my opinion these are companies who could care less about the living conditions of their seat meat.

    Perhaps @Chinatown in his infinite wisdom could give us a list of the outfits who use these things.

    No problem with forward road facing cams. But driver facing cams are ridiculous.

    I'd pick my nose and eat my boogers then slam on the breaks every day so my dispatcher back at Swift HQ would see it
