This is the transition ramp from the 91 East to the 710 North in Carson, CA. Usually these guys are going 10mph under the speed limit. It;s about a 35-40 mph turn for a big truck.

Nah. The truck got tired and wanted a nap.
Happens quite often in Atlanta. Some drivers either don't see those warning signs that say 25mph or they don't care. There's a few places you can get away with it, but woe be to the driver that doesn't gauge the turn right. -
You can take a curve too slow 1000 times, but take it too fast only once.
ChicagoDave, Vilhiem, icsheeple and 2 others Thank this. -
Nah, the air tanks on the chassis needed replaced, this way was easier than lifting the can off

I would like to see that tried on the 605 north interchange from the same direction you said, off the 91 east. Its posted I believe for 25 and they still lay them on the side and they built the wall higher to keep then right side up.Last edited: Aug 14, 2015
Vilhiem Thanks this. -
Is very common for trucks to roll over in the 710 N/B Anaheim East exit there's is at least 3 to 4 roll overs every 6 months
icsheeple Thanks this. -
Nothing to see here folks, just some routine maintenance.
-
Yup!!! Happens quite frequently here.. it's like its cursed. Its a tight curve but plenty of signs advicing for 15 mph curve ahead. -
Cursed?
Maybe the drivers were cursed with stupidity to not take the signs seriously or read them at all....hunted Thanks this. -
About 3 months ago a co worker and i were chatting it up at a terminal when that freeway exit came up. So he told me that this one guy at his old job took the curve at 45 mph. Wrecked the truck and got a ticket from chp for careless driving.
