wow so somebody does pay less than CR England...
Anyways .20 is horrible
With 6 months experience I went to Crete and they paid me .43 and made between $1150-$1300 working 7 days.
They raised their pay since then.
Just giving you an example how truly terrible you're getting shafted.NWAF, blairandgretchen and Vilhiem Thank this. -
Crazy ain't it?

Well you made a poor choice for a first company and you seem to be contemplating making another poor choice by leasing....way to go...keep up that pace and you will be talking about your one year of trucking at the 3rd shift temp job at Amazon.
Brian K, ZhenyaP1991, crunchy and 1 other person Thank this. -
You're right, a poor choice was made. But here's the thing, I don't think anyone here knew that knight paid that little.
I'm with freightwipper! I thought CRE paid the lowest amount.
...without the op being on and talking it's hard to know, but he did state that he couldn't find any data I thought. So I suspect the OP was putting it out there so we, and others looking at knight, would know how low they start folks off at.HeWhoMustNotBeNamed Thanks this. -
18 cents a mile? Yea......I made that in 1984.NWAF Thanks this.
-
Did you go to their cdl school? The 20 cents a mile would be ok if you had, as companies will deduct 10 cents a mile to offset the tuition cost for a certain period of time. But if not, that rate is lower than low, it is super low.HeWhoMustNotBeNamed and Vilhiem Thank this.
-
That is a great question! I notice on the OP's past posts that he is only 21 years old. Must have went to school somewhere---was it Knight? Are you paying tuition via auto deduction?
If so...seems like an expensive program IF you have to pay them for a year. Even if it is .08 or.09 cpm. X 100,000 miles in the year = $8,000 to $9,000 (6 month commitment seems a LITTLE more fair, but still expensive).
We're not gonna get an answer are we?Vilhiem Thanks this. -
Probably not. I think the OP is a one-hit wonder.
-
If I am not mistaken, I believe that starting solo pay at Steven's Transport, out of Dallas TX, is 29 cents per mile.
Believe it or not, from what I have heard, there are veteran OTR drivers at Steven's Transport.
God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!
