    Hello all,

I have a problem with my sleeper fan control switch near driver's seat.

The indicator light in the middle of the switch used to illuminate if the fan was set to run, now it does not.

I have replaced with a brand new switch and the light doesn't work on it either...very strange.

    Any ideas ?

    Thanks!

When you exchange it for the one in the back panel what happens.

It's a brand new switch out of the sealed plastic bag from Volvo.
Guess I'll exchange it and see if another new one fixes it.

No. No. Not the point. Its called substitution. You put the new switch and your old one in the back and see if it lights. If it does then there is a small issue with the wiring to the switch. On the switch it self there is a separate ground for the light when you turn the light on and then a ground for the light when you "switch" the switch. It is most likely a simple lucar issue.

    KB3MMX Thanks this.
