I am scheduled for Swift Orientation in about a month. I also applied to Western Express and have an email to call their recruiter. I have been off the road over 11 years, which is why I am posting in the new driver section. Guys, Swift vs. Western Express??? I think Swift would be better based on what I have read here. Just want some opinions. Also, Earl Henderson Trucking is currently reviewing my app. so I may have an opportunity there.
Thank you in advance for your opinions.

#### driver facing cameras, so I pick Western. Both companies suck
-
Why not give PTL a shot they are better off than these 2 in my opinion give them a call.
-
Yeah, I know they both suck, but the thing is, I may have to do what I have to do to regain entry back into OTR. Sometimes a guy has to suck it up and pay some dues.Irish4380 Thanks this.

Earl henderson.
Id wait for their reply. Or even better start calling thwm to ask about your application -
I hear that. You got a bad record or something? People here can suggest some good companies
-
I may know something by tomorrow. Of the three I mentioned, Henderson is the #1 choice. I may have to go through part of their training program for new drivers because I have been off the road so long. I would be willing to do that. They do have a weekly minimum mileage pay.

I have recieved some really good input from the guys here. I've been off the road over 11 years.

With Western you might get a satellite tv in your truck so you can watch the game every Sunday
-
I've read a lot of bad things about Western. Not a ball fan, but TV would be nice. What would be nicer than a TV, would to not have enough time to watch because a guy is running a lot.Chewy352, RedRover, speedyk and 1 other person Thank this.
