I truely hope you don't judge everything in life as you tried and failed to judge me. I am a Driver for Continental. When I posted these things, I was on a 34 and bored. As you can see, my comments on here are very light and few. I have now been with Continental for 13 months. If you took the time and read AND understood all my post, I never once claimed they were super awesome and totaly cool! I stated many times in my posts and replies, the, like others, have their share of problems. I hardly stayed on this thread for months. You Sir, seem to be a dim witted poor soul. As this is Aug, and I am just now seeing your attempt at trash talking someone you never met.

At the time of my earlier post, I did stay out 90 days at a time for my first 9 months with them. I have since met a Lady and enjoy my resets with her now every other weekend. Maybe you should try some self meditation and stop looking up big saying online in order to make yourself look more intelligent than you are? Or prehaps, B and C refer to yourself? Tisk, tisk, it is a shame there are people like you around. Good day...

Incorrect. They tell you and it is also written in the Employee Handbook. $500 fine for not giving 7 days of notice and $100 fine for not turning in Customer Direction book and Employee Handbook. Gotta listen and read in OR.

I would have thought this Web Site is set up for exactly this sort of Information exchange of Companies? Two people will see and experience the same Company two totaly differant ways. It does not make them a Cheerleader in any way if the the Posts are read correctly.

Whatever a Shill is??? I talk to much? How many posts have you made compared to me? I wrote those Posts while I was on a 34. Just like now, I am on my 10 and bored. I just got on here today, first time since when???
Damage control? I hardly glorify the Company. I stated many times they have their problems too. Don't put words in my mouth and make me out to be some sort of Fan Boy!
I hope your Trucker Insticts are better on the road than on this site!
Every Trucking Company is ALWAYS looking for Drivers. Are you new or something? Where have you been?
Welfare Trucking? I really have no idea what on Earth that means. As I have a perfect CSA score and a clean DAC! I can go just about anywhere with three years (still a rookie myself).
And if I was a "Fan Boy", why would I be thinking of leaving now after 13 months with them?

Some people are just born to be judgemental.

I would do what another suggested to me when I posted in another thread back in June in which I did not name Continental about the 100% accident score. Take your hard hard earned CSA score... years of experience and go somewhere else before the fed comes in and shuts them down. BTW did discover that the DOT did intervene earlier this year and of course anyone can see that did not matter. Lucky for us we live in an area where jobs are all over and far far better jobs too.

Not in mine...or my co-drivers. It was stated by David the advance returned if one had not been there a year but the penalty for not giving notice was said to be 100.00

When was the last time you checked your CSA score?

I have worked for Continental for years. I'm the older type so I have been around trucking many years. They have never been anything but good to me and my family. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to work hard and make $$. I grossed over 80K last year by working hard for this company. You can do the same if you want to work.

I'd love to know how you made over 80K last year. I only made 62,700 and had to fight for every mile. At around 80K, you would have had to drive at least 154,000 miles last year. That is clocking in 2,961 mile a week, every week without fail. That's also giving you a gernerous .52 cpm. Before you explain, let me get my Boots on.

Not saying good money can't be made there. But to sustain that sort of pay, you would have to be a O/O on paper Logs, Team dedicated or extreamly treated favorably everyday.

First five moths of last year, I stayed out still 90 days at a time. Only took my vacation weeks off.
and was only averaging $1,400/wk then.

If we're going to claim that high level of sustained pay, one must make sure they're running fully legal everyday and on ELD's to back that claim up. When it come to pay at any Company, one needs to make sure what they claim is doable to any average Driver. 80K a year, is not a realistic amount to be achieved. 60K+ is.

Don't take my posts wrong, I am not in anyway bashing CE. I just got with a bad DM that didn't care to do his job right and has lost many Drivers due to his workmanship. There are many good people at CE, both Drivers and Office. I tried to get another DM and even tried to transfer to a different terminal. Finally, I just got tired of bad dispatchs from the FM and DM.

Let me guess you are a friend of the owner.....and have no life to speak of.
This is the 21st century and guys like me who spent years overseas serving are sick of being gone so darn much. Very few drivers...even non veterans do not want to be out weeks at a time anymore.
Many...more respected companies...will pay decent for less and not be buggered around by some dispatchers that have less of an IQ than the cigarette between my fingers. As to your 80k claim....why not tell what kick backs you get too....
