    I think maybe the key word in there is REFRAIN, if asked if I took a 30 minute break I would answer yes of course.

    There are some overzealous LEO's out there.

    You are correct about the 12 hours. Your information regarding 60 hours and the 30 minute break is not correct.

    as said you really do not need the log. however, if you want to log your trips, go ahead, it'll at the very least keep you in practice, should you move onto another job someday.
