Took my written today. Past general, air brakes, combo and tanker. Didn't have time to do doubles & triples and Hazmat so i'll go back tomorrow. I did get my permit though.![]()

Congrats man. HAZMAT isn't as hard as all the studying makes it out to be but make sure you have a descent grasp on it.
Why would you not take the test for an endorsement that many companies require? Worst thing you can do with any career move in to unnecessarily limit your options. My company doesn't hire people without HAZMAT & Doubles/Triples. I wish I did mine right from the get go, Had I done mine when I got my permit originally I could have possibly had it on there by the time I passed my roadtest and got my license. I could have applied to a lot better places than I did right out of school.MJ1657 Thanks this. -
new driver will get tickets, will have small accidents for sure. if you have hazmat you will get double points on driving record. i had hazmat endorsement before but after first ticket i went dmv and asked them to drop it from my license. there are good paying companies who don't require hazmat. If he wants to drive mega's truck then he must have it. Anyway its up to him to decide.

ok. .yeah you need it ! be careful ! be 1000 x careful first year. i remember my first year of driving and it was full of mistakes.
