Well it depends, do you you need to list it? Does your company do dac reports? If they don't and it wasn't reported to the police then it never happened.

The issue there is that it can take a while for things to show on your dac.

So if he doesn't list it, he's lost his job later on if the officers involved finally decide to file that report.

The applications I've seen all say "regardless of fault". The company does do report to DAC. Neither incident was reported to the police.

    I can't argue that. You're absolutely correct.

I'm going to show how stupid I am, by asking this question, but here goes. If the bridge is 13"6 and tractor and trailer is 13"6, how can you go under it? Is it measured wrong?

    Most tractor-trailers are 13"3 I thought.......

Depends on the trailer but I want to say standard are 13'5 and the sign 13'6 on the trailer means if you go through anything over 13'6 is going to become a flatbed

    Vilhiem Thanks this.

I don't understand trailers that have their own height printed on them. There's too much variation in fifth wheel height to be able to do that.

Sure, except the height of the back wheels doesn't change.

No, but the height on the drive axles varies considerably. Fifth wheels come in different heights, and some people run 24" wheels when they really shouldn't.

If one buys a used tractor specced to pull a tanker and he wants to do containers or reefer work with it, he may have some issues. :)
