Hermiston alway had empties when you got there. I wonder what they did with all those pallets before. Someone else lose a contract?
Stay in touch with your tanker progress. Do you have a start date yet?

Must be. Will do. No date yet. When I first got approval, they said mid-September. I will probably stay at least till the end of the month to finish out the quarter. Don't want to lose any bonus.

438 miles today. From Sumner DH 225 miles to Pasco and then 207 miles to Portland. All D/H. Delivery was not scheduled till tomorrow. Delivered today after hours. Spending the night at the OC.
9.25 MPG over to Pasco. 9.04 MPG from Pasco to Portland. Load was a little over 14K. -
563 miles today. Portland to Hermiston to Portland to Grandview WA. All D/H.
After I dropped in Portland, they wanted me to BT 47 miles to Salem to P/U an MT that I could not get till tomorrow at 09:00. and then head the 228 miles to Granview. Let me see, I have 3 MT's sitting in front of me. Yep, I took an MT from here and headed to Grandview. DBL said to always take an MT from there. Save the 2 hour drive time in traffic and use it another day. -
Only 204 miles today. From Grandview to Portland. For some reason, loads never got unloaded today at IFCO. Had to park loaded trailers on the street. No MT's. So, will have to see what tomorrow brings.
-
New pre assignment was to go P/U MT and head to Hermiston. No MT's here yet. Call DBL. He tells me to sit here until MT becomes available. Total of 4 drivers here waiting for MT's. Waiting as far 1.5 hours. We will see how the days goes.
-
418 miles today. After a 3 hour wait for an MT, I BT over to Hermiston. Made it back to Portland. Dropped the trailer on the street along with the other 6 trailers since they have about 25 loaded trailers in their yard and we can't get in there.
I put an exception in on the MT and the box planner messages me says there are 5 MT's and gives me the numbers. I message back, no MT's and the list given are still loaded. I BT back to the OC for the night. Will have to find an MT in the AM.
Tomorrow, I P/U a preloaded trailer and head to Auburn WA for a 08:00 Monday appointment. Should be home early tomorrow for my reset. -
445 miles today. I must have been tired last night. Instead of going home and getting a reset, my assignment was to Aurburn CA not Auburn WA. How did I not see 585 miles instead of 147 miles. The best part of the load is driver assist to unload. Awesome......
The load is septic tank filters. The company did not put the BOL in the back of the trailer like the instructions said they were going to. So I had to make my own up. CS said they will fax copy of BOL to receiver.
Going to stop in Sacramento tomorrow and spend the day with my daughter. Stopped at the TA in Redding for the night. -
164 miles today. The last 64 miles tomorrow. Appointment at 08:00. Have to deal with Sacramento AM rush hour traffic tomorrow. That's always fun.
-
406 miles today. My driver assist unload only took an hour to unload. The company had 3 other people there to help. Very nice. After I made the 08:00 appointment in Auburn CA, I had to wait almost 4 hours for a new preplan.
Called my DBL after a couple hours and asked when I would be moving. He did not take that well for some reason. The conversation went bad for both of us. We were both pissed that I was in CA for the weekend. I told him it was not not fault. It went down hill from there. Oh well.....
New pre plan finally shows up. DH 33 miles to Sacramento for a D/H. Deliver 816 miles in Spokane WA on Wednesday for a live load.
Made it to Klamath Falls for the night. Should be in Spokane tomorrow ready for delivery first thing in the AM.Last edited: Sep 14, 2015
