They my have changed things as far as time with a trainer because the last I heard was 6 weeks min which starts as soon as you get your cdl. Let me know what you find out.
Redbeard93 Thanks this. -
12-14 days with trainer is Step 1. That had me confused also. The email could be better written for sure. I've been here a week, tested and received my permit last Thursday (8-3).
The 12-14 days is the end of "Step 1" after which they send you home for some "home time". Presumably you would transfer your CDL back to your home state at that point. Then you begin "Step 2". 6-8 weeks with trainer.Redbeard93 Thanks this. -
When do you test for cdl
-
thanks beandip i agree it could be written better haha it had me stumped

They need to redo most of their website, it seems like they're a vault on giving out their CDL school info. It took me over a week to get it in writing on just the first part. After I asked for what happens after that the guy I talked to hasn't emailed me back in almost 2 weeks, after some calls and emails I'm about to give up with them and go back to Roehl.

I'm guessing about 4 weeks from now. Haven't driven a truck yet. After testing on Thursday we called it a day, then on Friday I was out in the yard studying pre trip stuff while I waited to get into a truck, but then was side-tracked with some paper work stuff. Then the long weekend... Tomorrow (Tues.) will be my first full day in the
yard.Redtwin Thanks this. -
Depending on what they changed now. You'll be in he yard learning the pre trip every morning and start parking practice. And I think a few weeks before your test date they take you on the road to learn how to drive the truck.
Enjoy it out there. For me. I'm on my second/third week with my trainer.
Any other questions you can ask here or an instructor out there.Redtwin and Redbeard93 Thank this. -
Since you are open for questions, do you know if they offer a refresher program for CDL holders?. Also, would you happen to know their hiring areas?.
Thanks. -
I've been a little busy so I haven't been on in a while but as far as the rewards points that's between you and your trainer the way I do did it I use mine and get team showers for the first few weeks then I use the students card at the pumps to help build them up but honestly that's not a big deal even if u only start using yours after you upgrade they'll build up fast
