Exactly. Pure NSA. That's the way that bottomfeeders look at drivers. That's the way drivers should look at bottomfeeders. Work out a notice on an NSA? What for?

As far as the situation in the original post, expect these to happen on an infrequent basis. Stuff happens. It will all even out in the long run.

Every trucker has a horror story about the load from hell. That's why you don't make eye contact with anyone at the truck stop, unless you are prepared to hear all the details.

Swift doesn't have a corner on the market for whining fodder. The trick is to be professional and learn to deal with the ebb and flow. Some weeks you'll have nothing but short hauls with live loads and unloads, some weeks you'll get long haul drop and hooks.
