Probably the problem is withthe GPS or providing warranty. The GPS unit with the CoPilot11 has never worked for me. ALl they can do is tel me to buy a new one when this one is new. It all turned out to be a waste of $300 for nothing. The trucker GPS stand alone unit sounds good. But, without a warranty and support, I will not gamble my money on getting a working one. Been there and done that with CoPilot already on there existing product.

Just so you know, if you have an aircard in your computer, it likely has GPS. That's what I use for my GPS (I use it with DeLorme) and get great results.

does it take into account hazmat and low clearance
-
I read threw the site (DeLorme) and did not see anything were it would show low bridges or Hazmat routing.. This would be a program like Microsoft streets and maps.. Although Microsoft streets and Maps now has a separate program you can download (for get the name right now) that will show you truck routing for Microsoft streets and maps.. I think the additional add on program is around $25.. -
DeMorcan- was it just the little GPS receiver that didn't work, or was it the program itself?
